Experienced software specialist
The Marine & Freshwater Research Institute is looking for an experienced and ambitious software specialist to support the development, maintenance of the institute's information systems.
You will be part of a strong software team that works together to solve diverse projects, across the organization's divisions.
You will play a key role in the development and installation of the backend. We are on a digital journey where the emphasis is on excellent service to users.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Design, development and implementation of new software solutions.
- Analyze user requirements and preferences based on data.
- Development, construction and maintenance of web services and systems in a cloud environment.
- Support in the processing and presentation of data.
Education and qualification requirements
- A university degree in computer science, software engineering or other comparable education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend developer.
- Experience in implementing changes in the field of information technology.
- Experience with Java, C# or another similar programming language.
- Experience with AWS is desirable
- Experience with interface programming is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills, initiative and professional ambition.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.

Further information about the job
- Wages are in accordance with the current collective agreement made by the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs and the relevant union.
